“It all began five years ago in Los Angeles, when we came together for a photograph,” reminisced Chiranjeevi.

The atmosphere at the pre-release event of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu turned even more festive in Hyderabad when Venkatesh, who plays a key role in the film, joined the celebrations.
Addressing the audience, Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed his desire to collaborate on a full-fledged film with Venkatesh in the near future.
Showering praise on Venkatesh, Chiranjeevi said, “Working on set felt like being back in school, with constant fun and laughter. Venkatesh is deeply thoughtful and maintains an admirable balance between his work and personal life. He often shares insights with a level of wisdom beyond his years, and there were moments when I felt he was almost like a contemporary mentor (guru) to me.”
During the interaction, the Megastar also reminisced about how the two had discussed collaborating on a film nearly five years ago during a meeting in Los Angeles. Now that the project has finally materialised, Chiranjeevi revealed that both of them are keen to work together more frequently in the future.
On that note, Chiranjeevi made an on-stage request to director Anil Ravipudi, urging the hitmaker to helm another full-fledged film featuring both him and Venkatesh. Such a collaboration, if it materialises, is expected to be a treat for cinephiles.
Notably, the other major Sankranti releases include The Raja Saab, Jana Nayagan, and Parasakthi. Chiranjeevi wished all the films success, noting that their performance would benefit the film industry as a whole. (With inputs from Agencies)
