Kochi: Film producer Geo Kuttappan, also known as N.G. John, has passed away at the age of 90. He died early on Wednesday morning.

Most of the films produced by Geo Kuttappan were directed by I.V. Sasi. His productions with the acclaimed filmmaker include Iniyum Puzhayozhukum, Ezham Kadalinakkare, Meen, Innalenkil Nale, Eenadu, Iniyengilum and Ithiri Kalam.
He also produced Minimol, directed by J. Sasikumar; Rajanegandhi, directed by M. Krishnan Nair; Aattuvanchi Ulanjappol, directed by Bhadran; and Unaroo, a Malayalam film directed by Mani Ratnam, starring Sukumaran and Mohanlal in the lead roles.
