Kochi: The Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) has imposed a ban on prominent Malayalam actor/director Renji Panicker. 

The move comes after the movie distribution and production company owned by Renji Panicker failed to clear its pending payments. 

The ban will prevail until the dues are cleared. Till then, the theatre owners will refrain from showcasing the movies involving Renji Panicker in any capacity. FEUOK had previously imposed a ban against him in April earlier this year.

The ban came after his company allegedly defaulted on payments worth around Rs 70 lakh to theatre owners.
