Kochi: The Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK)has decided not to release or premier any Malayalam films in theaters from February 22.
FEUOK president K Vijayakumar informed that the decision comes as a protest against standpoints taken by the producers on various matters.
FEUOK had previously urged the producers not to premiere or release any films in OTT within 15-20 days of their initial theatrical release. Similarly, it batted for resting the right to choose the projectors with theatre owners. However, producers reportedly had a lukewarm response to the same.
