Director Blessy, the visionary behind the cinematic marvel, stood before the eager audience, his words echoing with sincerity and passion. 'It was one of my biggest prayers,' he shared, 'that the actors should remain healthy throughout the journey of 'Adujeevitham,' from its inception in 2018 until its completion in 2024.' His concern for their well-being mirrored that of a nurturing parent, underscoring the profound bond forged amidst the trials and triumphs of filmmaking.
Drawing inspiration from the allure of literature, Blessy spoke of the enchanting frenzy of translating the written word into captivating visuals. 'The path from page to screen was fraught with obstacles, each hurdle a test of resilience and determination,' he added.
Amidst the applause, writer Benyamin, a witness to Blessy's unwavering commitment, shared his admiration for the director's journey. 'Blessy's odyssey into cinema serves as an inspiration to all,' he said. 'Despite the skepticism and discouragement he encountered, Blessy remained steadfast in his pursuit of excellence. Through his unwavering focus and determination, Blessy has emerged as a beacon of hope, especially for today's youth, a testament to the power of resilience and belief in one's dreams.'
As the evening blossomed into a symphony of emotions, the stage resonated with the soul-stirring melodies of singer Jithin Raj. With each note, he wove a tapestry of emotion and presented to the audience, the poignant strains of 'Perione Rahmane,' the composition penned by Rafeeq Ahammed and brought to life by the mastery of A R Rahman.
Actor K R Gokul, whose portrayal of Hakeem in the movie had captivated audiences, also spoke at the programme. Hailing from Kozhikode himself, Gokul shared his profound gratitude at being a part of such a momentous occasion, standing shoulder to shoulder with luminaries from the realms of film and literature. In his heartfelt speech, he expressed his sense of privilege and recounted the honor he felt to share the stage with such esteemed dignitaries.
Also gracing the occasion were Mathrubhumi's Managing Director, M V Shreyams Kumar, Chairman and Managing Editor, P V Chandran, and Editor, Manoj K Das.
