Music director Pandit Ramesh Narayan is facing a huge backlash on social media over allegedly insulting actor Asif Ali.

Actors and politicians have come forward with their reactions to the incident. Now actor and director Nadirshah has come up with a harsh response to the incident.

In a post shared on Facebook, the Nadirshah noted: 'Music sense alone is not enough; a little common sense is also needed' (Sangeethabodham mathram pora ambane, alpam samaanyabodham koodi venam). Many people have come forward in support of the post.

The incident took place during the trailer launch ceremony of 'Manorathangal', a film compilation based on MT Vasudevan Nair's nine stories. The organisers invited Asif Ali to present the award to Ramesh Narayan, who participated in the event. But it is alleged that Ramesh Narayan did not accept the award from Asif Ali. At the same time, Ramesh Narayan has also come forward to explain the incident. Ramesh Narayan said, “I have not insulted Asif Ali, and I apologise if he felt that way.”
