Indian ARMYs are buzzing with excitement after alleged BTS tour data listed Mumbai among global destinations for the band’s 2026 world tour.

Global K-pop sensations BTS are rumoured to be gearing up for a massive 20-city world tour in 2026 – and Mumbai could be one of the stops. If confirmed, it would mark the group’s first-ever live performance in India, a long-awaited dream for millions of Indian ARMYs (fans).
The speculation began when alleged touring data from Live Nation surfaced online, listing Mumbai among key international destinations such as Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, London, Paris, São Paulo, Mexico City, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Manila, Jakarta, Berlin, Toronto, and Las Vegas.
While neither HYBE nor BIGHIT MUSIC has issued an official confirmation, social media has already erupted with excitement. The hashtag “BTS in Mumbai” has been trending across Indian X, as fans express their hope that the long-anticipated concert might finally become a reality.
India’s long-awaited BTS moment
The possibility of BTS – comprising Jin, Jungkook, Jimin, J-Hope, RM, Suga, and V – performing in India has been a recurring topic among fans for years. Despite India’s rapidly growing K-pop fandom, the country has rarely appeared on official tour itineraries of major Korean acts.
Interestingly, BTS’ Map of the Soul world tour in 2020 was rumoured to include an Indian leg before being scrapped due to the pandemic. The group had previously hinted at plans to visit Mumbai, with Suga revealing in 2021 that the city was on their radar.
RM had said at the time, “After ON, our goal was to go on a tour for a year travelling several countries in other continents.” Suga added that they were planning to organise a concert in Mumbai, a comment that continues to fuel excitement among Indian fans.
HYBE strengthens ties with India
Adding credibility to the buzz, BTS’ parent company HYBE recently expanded its operations in South Asia by opening its overseas headquarters in Mumbai. The move is viewed as part of the company’s strategy to engage more deeply with Indian audiences – a potential sign that large-scale K-pop events could soon be on the horizon.
The development has further intensified speculation that India may soon welcome its first-ever BTS concert, marking a historic moment in the country’s pop culture landscape.
As of now, HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC have remained tight-lipped about the 2026 tour or its list of venues. Yet, the excitement among Indian fans continues to grow. Many believe the timing — combined with HYBE’s local expansion – could finally align for BTS to take the stage in Mumbai.
