Eleisha Skinner, the British beauty queen crowned Miss Faversham in 2022, died aged 21 after a tragic accident. According to Metro, she was involved in a collision with a parked vehicle caused by icy road conditions. Skinner was admitted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where she battled bravely for several days before passing away on January 8.

The Faversham Carnival Club expressed profound sorrow over her death, remembering Eleisha as a wonderful ambassador for the town and a genuinely lovely young woman.

"It is with deep regret and sadness that we have to let you know that our beautiful Miss Faversham 2022, Eleisha Skinner, died on 8th January following a tragic accident. Eleisha was a fantastic ambassador for Faversham and a truly lovely girl. We all have some lovely memories of our time spent with her," the post read.

Eleisha was widely admired for her compassion and commitment to helping others, and was pursuing studies to become a social worker. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched in her memory to raise funds for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance service, which attended the scene of her accident.

Her parents, Nigel and Clare, paid tribute to her as a kind, selfless and passionate young woman, remembering her as someone with a true heart of gold.
