Sonu Nigam’s classic hit ‘Bijuria’ is back in the spotlight, thanks to its recreation in the Dharma Productions film ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, starring Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. Now, more than two decades after Bijuria first set the stage on fire, Sonu Nigam and Ishitta Arun, who featured in the original track, recreated the magic with a playful reel that has fans both nostalgic and delighted.

Ishitta Arun took to Instagram to share a playful video where the two can be seen watching Varun Dhawan’s version on their phones. Reacting to it, Ishitta says, “The kids have done well.” Sonu agrees, adding, “They’ve done a great job, really good.”

Sonu cheekily follows up with, “We also did it well.” Ishitta laughs and reminds him, “For our time, it was great. Red jacket, green dress... remember, Sonu?”

That’s when Sonu sighs, “We won’t be able to do it now,” looking rather tired. Shocked, Ishitta pushes him to the dance floor, declaring, “Mat bhoolo hum kaun hai... karke dikhayenge!” (Don’t forget who we are... we’ll show them).

The two then surprise everyone with an energetic version of the hook step from the original song. Sharing the reel, Ishitta wrote, “26 years later and the answer is still the same — of course we can do it.”

Fans loved the nostalgia-filled clip and flooded the comments. One user wrote, “Finally the collab we all have been waiting for.”  “Original is OG.. love u both,” another added.
