Actor Bala’s mother-in-law has taken a surprising step to keep him and his wife 'Kokila' safe from negativity.

In a four-minute video shared by Bala, Kokila’s mother revealed that she shaved her head in Tirupati as an offering. She believes that too many jealous eyes are on her daughter and son-in-law and decided to offer her hair as a prayer to protect them from harm.

Bala, who has been in Chennai for the past few days, visited his and Kokila’s family. He received warm blessings from her 93-year-old grandmother.

The elderly woman not only showered the couple with love but also gave them special gifts. She blessed Bala and Kokila, saying, “No evil force will touch you.” She then gifted him a ring and Kokila a beautiful stone-studded nose ring.

“May you live to be 110 years old, ‘Mappilai.’ Next year, you will be blessed with a son!,” she said.

Bala’s emotional response

In the video, Bala shared that he had come for a traditional ceremony where a newly married woman is gifted a nose ring. However, he was touched by the unexpected love and support from Kokila’s family.

"We came here for the ceremony, but I never expected to receive gifts in return," he said.

“People will keep saying things, we should not worry about these. We follow the path of God. Since there are such good-hearted people with us, no matter what anyone does..even black magic.. it won’t affect us. God is above all. Even if we don’t do good for everyone, we should never try to destroy the happiness of our loved ones. Think good, and may everyone be well,” he said.
