Discussions around the Coldplay ‘kiss’ scandal have reached a new high after the makers of the Bahubali franchise posted a meme on Instagram, comparing a shot from the film to the now-famous shot of the embracing couple at a Colplay concert.

The post features a still from a song showing Prabhas hugging Anushka aboard a ship, in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Team Baahubali has described Baahubali and Devasena as "CEO and HR of Mahishmati".

Interestingly, the meme has many similarities with the viral picture of Andy Byrne and Kristin Cabot together.

Everyone who noticed both the pictures was equally intrigued. "Coldplay concert Bhallaladeva concert," one of the users commented. "Oh my god!! I'm so happy to see this," wrote another user.

Notably, the makers had recently announced a re-release of the blockbuster franchise as a combined film titled Baahubali-The Epic, slated for an October release.

What is the Coldplay scandal all about?

The incident during Coldplay's live concert where Astronomer's former CEO Andy Byrne and his colleague Kristin Cabot were caught on camera caused a huge controversy.

The video of the two running away after realizing that they were caught on camera also went viral on social media.

The two were caught on camera holding each other while a camera panned across the audience. When they appeared on the big screen, the couple tried to hide by covering their faces. The incident became even more controversial when Coldplay singer Chris Martin drew attention to them.

After the video came out, allegations intensified that Byron, who is married with two children, is having an extramarital affair with Cabot. Byron soon resigned from his position as the CEO of Astronomer.

The video was widely shared on social media, and soon became trending on X, Instagram, and Facebook. A screengrab of the couple embracing also became a sticker for WhatsApp messages. Many people on social media commented that the two were probably married and that they were trying to hide from the camera because they were cheating on their partners.
