Asif Ali starrer 'Kishkindha Kaandam' received a good response on the first day of its release. Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, this film is produced by Joby George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainment.

Netizens had hailed the film for its outstanding writing and performance by lead actors. The film hit the theatres on September 12 as an Onam release.

Many users praised the movie for its originality and called it "the biggest surprise of the year so far for me." 

Taking to X, a user wrote "....the biggest surprise of the year so far for me. I still haven’t figured out what genre to slot the film in, but it’s a solid mystery film, which is also a beautiful father-son drama. The performances are brilliant, especially by Asif&Vijayaraghvan."

The film features Asif Ali, Vijayaraghavan, and Aparna Balamurali. Set in the monkey-inhabited Kallepathi Reserve Forest, it follows the lives of ex-military man Appupilla and his son Ajayachandran, a forest officer. 

The film also features Jagadish, Ashokan, Nishan, Vaishnavi Raj, Major Ravi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Shebin Benson, Kottayam Ramesh, Bilas Chandrahasan, Master Aarav, Jibin Gopinath.
