Mollywood star Asif Ali has confirmed that his upcoming movie ‘Kunjeldho’ will have a theatrical release on August 27. The movie will be one of the Onam releases from the Malayalam film industry.

‘Kunjeldho’ which is touted as a campus film is written and directed by RJ Mathukutty. Though the makers planned to release the movie last year, it was delayed due to the pandemic.

Interestingly, the singer-turned-actor and director Vineeth Sreenivasan collaborated with ‘Kunjeldho’ team as creative director.

Debutant actress Gopika Udayan played the female lead in the movie.

Suvin K Varkey and Prasobh Krishna produced the movie under the banner of Little Big Films.

Shaan Rahman composed the songs and Swaroop Philip cranked the camera.
