Asha Bhosle, the legendary "Queen of Indipop," continues to break barriers at the age of 91. The iconic singer recently left her audience in awe during a concert in Dubai, where she not only performed the hit song 'Tauba Tauba' but also danced to the famous signature step from the track, originally made popular by actor Vicky Kaushal.
A video of her performance, shared widely on social media on Monday, quickly went viral. During the concert, Asha Bhosle who was performing sang 'Tauba Tauba', a song written by Karan Aujla for the comedy film Bad Newz. What made the performance even more unforgettable was when she flawlessly recreated the dance move, earning cheers and applause from the live audience.
The singer's unique talent and energy at her age did not go unnoticed. Karan Aujla, the original artist behind the song, shared his admiration for Asha on Instagram. In a heartfelt post, he wrote, “@asha.bhosle ji, the living Goddess of music, just performed 'Tauba Tauba'… a song written by a kid who grew up in a small village, with no music background and no knowledge of music instruments. This song has received a lot of love and recognition, but this moment is truly iconic and one I will never forget. I am truly blessed and thankful.”
He went on to express his gratitude, saying, “This has really inspired me to keep giving you all such melodies and create more memories together.”

Karan Aujla also posted a reel of Asha’s performance on his Instagram, sharing his awe with his followers: “I wrote it at 27. She sang it at 91 better than me (folded hand emoji). @asha.bhosle.”

The internet was equally impressed. Fans flooded social media with praise for the evergreen diva, with one user commenting, "What at 91...Most elderly people I know in their early 60's can't even walk on their own and look at Asha tai doing all of that with so much flamboyance and finesse...Queen of everything."
Many others shared their admiration with words like “Iconic” and “Her cute lil dance,” as Asha proved that age is just a number when it comes to showcasing true talent and energy.
