The speculation can now be put to rest—Arbaaz Khan has confirmed that he and his wife, Sshura Khan, are expecting their first child. In recent days, the internet was abuzz after Sshura was photographed outside a Mumbai clinic, her appearance hinting at a possible pregnancy.

While the couple remained tight-lipped initially, Arbaaz has now addressed the rumours and shared the happy news, marking a new chapter in their journey together.

Confirming the news, Arbaaz told Times of India, “Yes, it is there. I'm not denying that information because right now it's something that is out there, my family knows about it. People have got to know about it, and it's fine. It's pretty evident also. It's a very exciting time in both our lives. We are happy and excited. We're going to welcome this new life in our life.”

This will be Arbaaz’s second child and Sshura’s first. Arbaaz. He first welcomed his first son, Arhaan Khan, with ex-wife Malaika Arora, in 2002. As Arbaaz is ready to step into the shoes of a father once again. When asked about how he feels to be a father again, the actor said, “Everybody tends to be nervous. Any person would feel (the nerves); I'm also getting into fatherhood now after some time. It's a fresh new feeling for me all over again. I'm excited. I'm happy and I'm looking forward. It's just giving me a new sense of happiness or responsibility. I'm kind of liking that.”

While he and Sshura are all excited about welcoming their little one very soon into this world, Arbaaz also said that he hopes to be attentive, loving, caring, be around for their kid, and to provide the best for their child once the baby arrives.

The soon-to-be parents first met on the sets of ‘Patna Shulka’, a legal drama starring Raveen Tandon, which released in 2024, and was backed by Arbaaz. After dating for a year, the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level. They eventually got married on December 24, 2023, in Mumbai. Their marriage, attended by close family and friends, was held at sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence.
