Anaswara Rajan and Ranjith Sajeev in 'Mike'
An intriguing and exciting trailer of Mike, produced by Bollywood actor John Abraham's JA Entertainment, was released through the official channel of Sony Music India.
The producer of the film actor John Abraham, cast and crew and several renowned artists from the film fraternity shared the trailer on their social media handle.
Mike is JA Entertainment's maiden production venture in Malayalam. Directed by Vishnu Sivaprasad, state award-winning music director Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing the songs of Mike.
The trailer of the film is receiving wide acceptance and adulation across social media platforms and audiences alike.
The trailer suggests that the film handles a contemporary relevant theme and will attract the young generation. Aashiq Akbar Ali, who previously penned 'Kala Viplavam Pranayam' is the script-writer of Mike.
Debutant Ranjith Sajeev and Anaswara Rajan, notable for her films like ‘Thanneer Mathan Dinangal’ and ‘Super Sharanya’ are playing the lead in ‘Mike’. The film is distributed by Century.
The film has an ensemble cast including Rohini Molletti, Jinu Joseph, Akshay Radhakrishnan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Dayyana Hameed, Karthik Manikandan, Rakesh Murali, Rahul, Nehaan, Roshan Chandra, Vettukili Prakash and Sini Abraham.
The cinematography of the film is by Renadive and Vivek Harshan is the editor. Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, Rafeeq Ahammed, Suhail Koya, Arun Alat and Vinayak Sasikumar are penning the songs. Suresh Mukund from Mumbai-based hip-hop dance group Kings United did the choreography of one song, another song is done by Gayathri Raghuram and the last one is jointly choreographed by Pratheesh Ramdas and Greeshma Narendran. Ranjith Kotheri is the Art Director while Ronex Xavier is behind Make-Up. Sonia Sandiavo is the Costume Designer and Rajesh Rajan handles Sound Designing. Phoenix Prabhu and Arjun are behind Stunts. Still Photography is by Rahul Raj. Devison C J and Binu Murali are production controllers. Publicity design is by Jayaram Ramachandran. Marketing and Communications is handled by Sangeetha Janachadran under the banner of Stories Social.
‘Mike’, distributed by Century, will hit the theatres on August 19.
