Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun on Saturday took to social media to wish director Atlee on his birthday, fuelling excitement around their much-anticipated collaboration. The Pushpa star is currently working with the filmmaker on a high-budget sci-fi action entertainer, tentatively titled ‘AA22xA6’.

"Happy Birthday to my dearest director @Atlee_dir garu. May abundance shower upon you. Wishing you all the joy, love, and prosperity. Can’t wait for everyone to experience the cinematic magic you’re creating," Arjun wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The film, which also stars Deepika Padukone as the female lead, is currently in the production phase. While no official posters or teasers have been released so far, a leaked image of Allu Arjun from the sets recently went viral online, sparking fan speculation that it could be his look from the film.

‘AA22xA6’ marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee, and is being billed as one of the biggest pan-India projects in the works. The film is expected to feature a blend of science fiction, action, and mass entertainment — a genre shift for both the actor and the director.
