Malayalam film ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ starring Nimisha Sajayan and Suraj Venjaramoodu has impressed critics and audience alike. Now, latest reports have confirmed that Tamil remake of the film has started rolling at Karaikudi on Wednesday.
Aishwarya Rajesh is playing the lead role in the movie.
The Malayalam movie directed by Jeo Baby was released through an OTT platform.
R Kannan will direct the Tamil version of the movie. ‘Jayamkondan’, ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ and ‘Settai’ are some of the popular movies directed by Kannan.
Karaikudi is the major location of the Tamil film. Cinematographer Balasubhramanyam is cranking the camera. Savari Muthu and Jeevitha jointly wrote the dialogues.
Editor Leo John Paul and art director Raj Kumar are also associated with the project.
The team has not disclosed the details of other actors in the movie.
At the same time, Kannan has bagged the rights to produce ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ in Telugu too.
