Veteran south Indian actress Suhasini is making her directorial debut with a short film amid the lockdown over coronavirus outbreak. The short film titled ‘Chinnaniru Kilye’ will have young Mollywood actress Ahaana Krishna in the lead.
According to reports, the short film is getting ready for online release.
Adhering to the lockdown restrictions on shootings, the short film was completely shot on iPhone. The director herself declared that no crew including technicians assisted her for the shooting.
Suhaasini announced about her directorial debut on her Instagram page.
“Lock down stories. First short film. Ahaana krishna Suhasini ManiRatnam Komalam Charuhasan N Krishnan shot on my iPhone during total lockdown no crew no lights no technicians. Edited by Kevin Das music James Vasanthan. Coming soon,” wrote Suhasini.
The yesteryear heroine is active in the south film industry. According to reports, she will make a comeback to Mollywood with Mohanlal starrer ‘Marakkar-Arabikadalinte Simham’.
As the shootings were cancelled amid the coronavirus outbreak, most of the stars are busy with interesting creative works to make the time productive.
Ahaana Krishna was last seen in Tovino starrer ‘Luca’ and Mammootty starrer ‘Padinettam Padi’.
