Mumbai: Well, the debate regarding nepotism in Bollywood is not a new topic and rightfully so, as we keep witnessing the uptick in the launch of star kids with each passing year. Cousin of Ananya Panday, who was recently seen in ‘Kesari Chapter 2’, Ahaan Panday is set to make a debut with Mohit Suri’s love story ‘Saiyaara’ alongside Aneet Padda, who is famous for her roles in Big Girls Don't Cry(2024), and Salaam Venky (2022).

The makers released the teaser of the much-awaited film on May 30. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on July 18, 2025.

Yash Raj Films took to its official social media platforms to formally announce the release of the film: “Theirs is a love story like no other… #Saiyaara starring @ahaanpandayy and @aneetpadda_ releasing in theatres, worldwide, July 18, 2025!"

For the unversed, Suri will don the hat of a director after the 2022 film ‘Ek Villain Return’. Check out the teaser here:

Ananya’s supportive gesture: In a sweet gesture to showcase love and support for her cousin Ahaan, Ananya Panday took to her social media and shared the film’s announcement. She captioned the post, “Welcome to the movies, my brother @Ahaanpandayy.”

Ananya’s co-star in her debut film, ‘Student of the Year 2’, Tara Sutaria, also showcased her joy and posted: “AHAANIE! It’s finally happening So proud of you. You both are just wonderful in the trailer!!!! @ahaanpandayy.” Munjya fame Abhay Verma wrote, “It’s unexplainable how happy I am, Aneet.”

ANI recently reported saying it is the Gen Z era now, and Aditya Chopra is confident of Ahaan being a strong contender for this level of stardom. “All eyes will be on the young boy to see how he can floor everyone with his first film,” an insider said.

About the teaser: The one-minute 15-second-long teaser is a sheer romantic buildup. Garnering more than 80k views in less than one hour, the teaser has lured the audience into thinking that the film will be an amalgamation of the storylines of ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Ek Villain’, ‘Malang’, and ‘Ek Villain Returns’.
