Meena and Vidyasagar
Chennai: South Indian actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passed away. He was ailing from lung-related diseases and post-Covid health complications. The cause of death is said to be a lung infection. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Chennai.
Vidyasagar was undergoing treatment for lung-related diseases for many years now. He tested positive for Covid and his health started to deteriorate. As the infection intensified, the doctors had advised lung transplantation but they couldn’t find a donor. Vidyasagar was on life support but his condition worsened by Tuesday evening. His mortal remains will be cremated at Besant Nagar in Chennai by 2 pm on Wednesday.
Meena and Vidyasagar got married in 2009. Vidyasagar was a Bengaluru-based IT professional. Their daughter Nainika made her acting debut through the Vijay movie ‘Theri’.
Many celebrities condoled the untimely demise of Vidyasagar.
