Kochi: Following the release of the Hema Committee Report, several female artists have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment against members of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).

In a revelation, junior artist Jubitha Andy accused Edavela Babu, former General Secretary of AMMA, of inappropriate behavior.

Speaking to Mathrubhumi News, Jubitha Andy alleged that Babu said that she could become a member of AMMA through "adjustment" instead of paying hefty fees.

"He advised me that making certain adjustments was enough to secure a place in AMMA instead of paying the membership fees," she said. She stopped receiving movie offers for refusing to comply with their demands. 

She also alleged that actor Sudheesh and director Harikumar also misbehaved with her.
