South Indian actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar has shared a personal story from her childhood, revealing that she was a victim of abuse. The actress made this emotional confession during her appearance on Zee Tamil's dance show aired on a private Tamil channel.

While the actor was judging the show, a contestant shared her painful abuse experiences with her family. In response, Varalakshmi revealed that the girl's story mirrored her own.

'When I was a child, my mother and father used to leave me with other people to take care of me when they went to work. I was molested by five or six people as a child. I don't have any children. But I am requesting parents to please teach their children about good touch and bad touch,' said Varalakshmi.The actress was in tears as she completed her statement.

Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, daughter of renowned actor Sarathkumar and his first wife Chhayadevi, made her Tamil cinema debut in 2012. She has since starred in prominent roles in Malayalam films such as Kasaba, Kaattu, and Masterpiece.
