Kozhikode: Popular actor Sudheesh bagged Nilav Trust's award in memory of theater-serial artist and director P T Rafeeq. 

Sudheesh was selected for the award in recognition for his contribution to the theater and cinema industry for more than three decades. The decision to give the award to Sudheesh was made by a committee chaired by Paul Kallanode. 

Nilav Trust secretary Anwar Kunimal informed that director Sibi Malayil will hand over the award to Sudheesh on April 11 at the event 'Ormayil Rafeeq', organized at the Town Hall. The award will carry Rs 10001 in cash, a plaque, and a certificate.
