Actor Bhama has publicly expressed support for BJP leader and actor G. Krishnakumar, whose daughter Diya Krishna is reportedly linked to a financial fraud case involving her business venture. Bhama shared a video clip from Krishnakumar’s press conference, praising his emotional response and words of defence.

In the video, Krishnakumar stated emphatically:

“If my daughter is in trouble, I will go to any extent. Parents who raise children—especially daughters—will understand that pain. If a man calls my pregnant daughter at 10 or 11 at night... I still believe I spoke in a very dignified manner.”

Bhama reposted this video on her Instagram story, adding a heart emoji and the word "Achan" (Father), indicating solidarity and emotional resonance with his statement.

Referring to the incident, Krishnakumar said:

“You all saw the distress faced even by our MLA. If a man calls at night, you know what kind of response that situation demands. Now, if someone threatens my daughter over a call, surely this is a matter that warrants action.”

He also raised concerns about the people allegedly influencing the situation:

“Our society is being infiltrated by criminals. Who stands behind those committing criminal acts? These children (referring to employees at Diya’s jewellery store) don’t have the capacity for such things—they are ordinary kids. Just because they have access to money, someone has interfered and blown the matter out of proportion.”

The case involving Diya Krishna has stirred significant public attention, with political and celebrity circles reacting to the developments. The ongoing investigation relates to an alleged financial fraud linked to Diya’s enterprise.

The actor-politician’s emotional defence and Bhama’s public endorsement have added yet another personal dimension to the growing controversy.
