The trailer of ‘Aasha’, which brings together acclaimed actors Urvashi and Joju George for the first time, has been released. The trailer offers glimpses of the two actors in an intense face-off, hinting at a gripping story filled with suspense and unexpected turns.

Aishwarya Lekshmi plays Urvashi’s daughter in the film, while veteran actor Vijayaraghavan also appears in a key role. The film is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on September 11.

According to the trailer, the story revolves around an unexpected accident and the tense chain of events that follows. The fast-paced and intriguing trailer has generated anticipation, with the makers promising memorable performances and unusual acting moments from the cast.

‘Pani’ fame Ramesh Girija is also part of the cast. The film will be released in five languages.

Presented by Ajith Vinayaka Films and produced by Vinayaka Ajith, ‘Aasha’ is the latest production from the banner after films such as Ponman, Gaganachari, Bandra, Madanolsavam and Circuit. The film’s title-look poster and first look had earlier attracted considerable attention, particularly Urvashi’s distinctive appearance in the movie.

‘Aasha’ marks the directorial debut of Zafar Sanal, who has also written the story. Joju George, Ramesh Girija and Zafar Sanal have jointly penned the screenplay and dialogues.

The technical crew includes Madhu Neelakandan as cinematographer and Shan Mohammed as editor. Govind Vasantha has composed the music, while Ajayan Adat handles sound design and sync sound. Vivek Kalathil is the production designer, Shameer Sham is the makeup artist and Sujith C.S. is the costume designer.

The stunt choreography is by Dinesh Subbarayan. Shabeer Malavattath is the production controller, Ratheesh Pilla serves as chief associate director, and Jijo Jose and Febin M Sunny are associates. Binu is the associate cinematographer.

Tapas Nayak is in charge of sound mixing, with Colour Planet Studios handling DI and Srik Varier serving as colourist. Meraki has handled the VFX, while Anup Chacko is the still photographer. Yellowtooths has created the film’s designs, and Athira Diljith is the PRO.
