Aaradhya unaware of divorce rumours, says Abhishek Bachchan, praising Aishwarya’s parenting

Persistent rumours about Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s marriage have resurfaced frequently in recent times. Yet, Abhishek has confirmed that their 14-year-old daughter, Aaradhya, remains completely unaware of any chatter about her parents.
Speaking to Peeping Moon, Abhishek was asked if Aaradhya was aware of the persistent rumours about her parents. He noted that, since she does not yet have her own phone, she is likely untouched by them. “I hope not. She’s a very mature girl. She’s a wonderful girl, and her mother has done a wonderful job,” he said, adding that keeping up with her parents’ personal life is far from her priorities.
He explained that her friends must contact her through her mother’s phone, a rule they had established long ago.
Abhishek also mentioned that Aaradhya can access the internet, but he feels she isn’t interested in rumours about her parents. He explained that her focus is largely on her studies and schoolwork rather than searching for information online. “She won’t believe anything; her mother has taught her well enough not to believe everything that she reads. Like my parents were with me, we’re completely honest with the family. So there’s never been an occasion where anybody needs to question anyone,” he added.
Abhishek dismissed the divorce speculations as “rubbish, vicious, and incorrect,” highlighting how stories about their relationship have frequently been fabricated. Meanwhile, Aishwarya recently clarified at the Red Sea Film Festival that Aaradhya does not use social media, further shielding her from unnecessary attention.
