New Delhi: Rishab Shetty won the Best Actor Award, while Nithya Menen and Manasi Parkeh were honored with the Best Actress Award at the 70th National Film Awards, which celebrated cinematic achievements for films released in 2022. Although Mammootty, whose name was doing the rounds, did not win this year, Malayalam cinema has reason to celebrate with Anand Ekarshi's directorial debut, Aattam, taking home the award for Best Feature Film.

Films censored from January 1 to December 31, 2022, were considered for the award.
