The teaser of ‘Yaariyan 2’, a sequel to the 2014 hit film, was released yesterday. The teaser hints at the sequel being a remake of the Malayalam superhit film ‘Bangalore Days’. The film is directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. 

Along with Divya Khosla Kumar, Yash Dasgupta, Meesan Jaffrey and Warina Hussain, the cast also includes Malayali beauties Anaswara Rajan and Priya P Warrier. Since the plot of ‘Yaariyan 2’ has some significant differences from ‘Bangalore Days’, it remains unclear which characters Anaswara and Priya will play. However, both actors feature in the teaser. Anaswara posted the teaser on her instagram page.

However, the basic premise of the plot, centering around the love life of three cousins as they venture through the trials and tribulations life presents them with, remains the same. The teaser also featured a version of Honey Singh’s hit song ‘Blue he paani’ from the original ‘Yaariyan’ movie.
