To the delight of Avatar fans, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, directed by celebrated filmmaker James Cameron, will be released in six Indian languages.
Taking to Twitter, Jon Landau, one of the producers of the movie, wrote, “Namaste India! I see you. Your diversity continues to amaze me. I am so excited for you to experience #AvatarTheWayOfWater in 6 languages - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Let's celebrate the return to Pandora on 16th Dec. Please enjoy the Kannada trailer.”
The first Avatar movie, released in 2009, had become the highest grossing film in the history of world cinema (2.93 billion dollars). ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ will hit theatres in India on December 16, 2022.
Reportedly, Avatar’s third and fourth part will be released on December 20, 2024 and December 18, 2026 respectively. Meanwhile, Cameron had said in a recent interview that he may not direct the Avatar 5 or 6.
