Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh made an unexpected visit to the Taj Mahal in Agra ahead of his AURA India Tour.

Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh took some time out of his busy schedule to visit the Taj Mahal in Agra on Tuesday, October 27, ahead of his much-awaited AURA India Tour. The singer shared a video from his visit on social media, offering fans a glimpse of his time at the iconic monument.
The video captured Diljit exploring different parts of the Taj Mahal, posing for photographs and greeting fans who spotted him at the historic site. The singer appeared to be enjoying his visit as he waved to admirers and took in the surroundings of one of the world's most celebrated landmarks.
For the outing, Diljit opted for a casual look, wearing a grey graphic T-shirt with a red jacket and loose-fitting blue jeans. He completed his outfit with his signature white turban.
Sharing the video on social media, the singer wrote, "WAH TAJ BOLIYE #wondersoftheworld AURA INDIA TOUR 2026,"
His visit comes just days before he is scheduled to perform in the national capital as part of his India tour.
Diljit Dosanjh's Delhi concert gets police clearance
Meanwhile, preparations are underway for Diljit's upcoming concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on October 30.
The event recently attracted attention following reports that Delhi Police had initially refused to grant permission for the performance. Security concerns, limited preparation time and additional law-and-order responsibilities during the festive season were cited as reasons for withholding approval.
However, the situation was resolved a day later after concert organisers held several discussions with police officials and submitted revised security arrangements.
Following the meetings, Delhi Police granted permission for the concert to proceed as planned.
Ticketing platform BookMyShow subsequently released a statement addressing speculation that the Delhi show had been cancelled.
"It is clarified that reports suggesting that the Diljit Dosanjh AURA India Tour concert in New Delhi on 30 October is being cancelled are inaccurate. Permission for the event had been temporarily withheld, not cancelled, and the two should not be confused. Given the festive season and the heightened caution it calls for, Delhi Police asked the organisers, BookMyShow Live, to put additional safety, traffic and crowd-management measures in place," the statement by BMS read.
BookMyShow confirms concert will go ahead
BookMyShow Live, which is organising the concert, also confirmed that it had provided the authorities with a comprehensive plan covering security, traffic regulation and crowd management.
The organisers assured police officials that all necessary arrangements would be implemented to ensure the event runs smoothly.
"BookMyShow Live had a cordial meeting with Delhi Police, presented a detailed plan and have assured Delhi Police of full compliance with all security/traffic requirements. On that basis, permission for the event has been reconsidered and issued. We, with Delhi Police, are committed to ensure a good experience to the attendees as well as local commuters."
With the necessary approvals now in place, Diljit's Delhi concert is scheduled to take place on October 30 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
