Jung Kook has once again proved that even the smallest online slip can become headline news when you're a BTS member. The singer unintentionally gave fans a glimpse of what appeared to be his private CapCut profile after sharing a self-edited video on Instagram, setting off a wave of detective work across social media.

An ordinary upload quickly turned into a trending topic when ARMY members noticed something unusual in the video's closing seconds. A brief blank screen flashed the CapCut logo along with a user ID, something that had apparently escaped Jung Kook's attention while exporting the clip.

Fans soon discovered an account they believed belonged to the singer. According to fan posts online, the account's username was later changed to "dykJung Kook?".

Rather than ignoring the incident, Jung Kook addressed it himself after the video began circulating widely online. Replying to a repost, he admitted that he had overlooked the final frame while editing.

"Ah, that... I missed that... Ah, wait a second. CapCut," he wrote, reacting with visible embarrassment over the accidental reveal.

His response only fuelled more jokes from fans, who filled social media with memes, screenshots and playful comments. Many described the moment as peak "Jung Kook behaviour", while others joked that the BTS star has a habit of accidentally exposing his private online accounts.

It is not the first time the singer has found himself in a similar situation. In 2023, Jung Kook unintentionally revealed a private TikTok account after posting a video featuring ENHYPEN. That incident also spread rapidly online before the singer laughed it off with fans.

Over the years, he has shared several self-produced clips, and fans often praise the creativity behind them. This time, however, it was a tiny editing oversight, rather than the edit itself, that became the biggest talking point.
