After lighting up SoFi Stadium, BLACKPINK’s Lisa is lighting up TikTok too—with instant ramen and a new musical challenge on Netflix’s Hitmakers

BLACKPINK’s Lisa continues to dominate both stages and screens.
After wrapping a high-energy concert at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on the Another Great Day tour, the K-pop star took to Instagram on July 23 to share a cosy post-show moment that has now gone viral. In the image, Lisa is seen clutching a cup of Samyang’s Buldak Carbonara instant ramen, already a TikTok favourite, paired with a comfy hoodie and bottled drinks in her dressing room.
The viral photo quickly sparked buzz online, with fans embracing Lisa’s relatable comfort-food craving. The Buldak brand, already popular for its spicy kick and creamy Carbonara twist, has also been endorsed by stars like Cardi B and GloRilla. BLACKPINK’s Rosé, too, has previously declared her love for the same brand, making it something of a K-pop pantry staple.
Lisa joins Netflix’s Hitmakers, challenges artists to create her next anthem
As the ramen trend picked up steam, Lisa dropped another surprise—this time on Netflix. In the newly launched reality series Hitmakers, Lisa appears via video message to deliver a creative challenge to 12 top-tier producers and songwriters at a music camp: write her next hit track.
“The type of song I'm looking for… I want something catchy and upbeat,” Lisa says in the teaser released on July 24. “Not too slow, because I'm a performer, so I have to dance. And it would be nice if there's a rap verse as well. I love hip-hop.”
The series, which also features icons like John Legend and Shaboozey, follows top music talent as they compete to create global chartbusters. Lisa’s challenge, combining danceability, hooks, and her signature hip-hop flair, immediately set fan expectations high.
From ramen to rare performances: Lisa’s cultural influence is unmatched
Lisa’s influence spans beyond food and music. In a 2024 Vanity Fair feature, she revealed her obsession with collectible Labubu toys from Pop Mart, another viral trend she helped amplify. “I go crazy. I spent all my money,” she joked in the interview, showcasing her relatability and wide appeal.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK as a group continues to break records. During the Toronto leg of their Deadline World Tour, the group performed Rosé’s hit Bruno Mars collab APT. as a full quartet for the first time, thrilling fans with a rare encore moment. Lisa also recently completed her arc on The White Lotus and was the first-ever global cover star for Billboard.
Whether it's through noodles, Netflix, or the next big stage performance, Lisa continues to set—and break—trends with effortless cool.
