Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Tovino Thomas has been named as the brand ambassador of Kerala government’s community volunteer army.

Announcing this, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan appreciated Tovino’s involvement in flood relief activities. The CM noted that the actor is a role model for the youth and his presence will influence more people to join in the community volunteer army.

“The state government has formed the community volunteer army to motivate more people to turn volunteers. Thousands of people assisted the government as volunteers during the pandemic period also. I hope more youngsters should join the community volunteer army. Tovino Thomas came forward to be a part of the army. I would like to express my gratitude to him for taking up the role of the brand ambassador of the army,” wrote Pinarayi Vijayan on his Facebook page.
