Kerala Film Critics Awards: Prithviraj, Biju Menon share best actor award
Kochi: The 45th Kerala Film Critics Awards for the year 2020 have been announced on Monday. 'The Great Indian Kitchen' directed by Jeo Baby has bagged the award for the best film. Prithviraj and Biju Menon shared the best actor award for their stunning performance in 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'.
Like the best actor award, the best actress award were shared by two stars Surabhi Lekshmi (Jwalamukhi) and Samyuktha Menon (Aanum Pennum, Vellam and Wolf).
Siddharth Siva has won the best director award for his movie 'Ennivar'.
The award ceremony will be held once the restrictions over COVID are lifted, said Kerala Film Critics Association president Dr. George Onakkur.
The Chalachitra Ratnam lifetime achievement award has been bestowed to ace filmmaker K G George.
Director Harikumar has been selected for the Ruby Jubilee Award constituted to commemorate the 40th year of the Association for his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema for the last 40 years.
'Vellam' directed by Prajesh sen bagged two awards including the second-best film and director of second best film.
Late director and scriptwriter Sachi won the best screenplay award for the movie 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'.
