The Duchess of Sussex, who famously bid adieu to acting after marrying Prince Harry, is reportedly filming a cameo role in an upcoming comedy titled Close Personal Friends.

The film, being shot around Los Angeles, features an A-list cast including Emily in Paris star Lily Collins, The Boys actor Jack Quaid, Brie Larson, and Henry Golding.

According to Variety, the movie “revolves around a regular couple that meets a celebrity couple while on a trip to Santa Barbara” — a setting that couldn’t feel closer to home for the California-based royal.

This marks Meghan’s first acting appearance in seven years, after her breakout success as paralegal Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits. She left the show in 2018, ahead of her fairytale wedding to Prince Harry, and soon traded Hollywood scripts for royal headlines.
