What is 'Karakkam' about?

The story follows two carefree friends, Dhanush and Khaja, whose New Year's Eve celebrations spiral into chaos. After a night of heavy drinking and a hostel brawl, the duo wanders into a church cemetery.

In a drunken act of mischief, they pull out five brass crosses from different graves, unknowingly disturbing the resting spirits buried beneath.

Their reckless actions awaken five angry ghosts that begin relentlessly haunting them.

As the supernatural attacks intensify, Dhanush and Khaja seek shelter in and around a local lodge, only to find themselves trapped in a series of frightening yet hilarious encounters.

With the spirits refusing to back down, the two friends are forced to confront the consequences of their mistake.

Their only hope of survival lies in finding a way to make amends and restore peace before the haunting spirals out of control.
