Actors Vishal and Sai Dhanshika marked a special milestone in their relationship by getting engaged on August 29, 2025, coinciding with Vishal’s 47th birthday. The intimate ceremony was attended by close friends and family, with Vishal later sharing the happy news on his official X handle.

The couple had earlier announced their relationship in May 2025, during a press conference. Initially, they had planned to tie the knot on August 29, but the wedding has now been postponed. Vishal, who serves as the General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam, said he wished to get married after the completion and inauguration of the Nadigar Sangam building.

Sharing his joy, Vishal posted:

“Thank you all, you darlings from every nook and corner of this universe, for wishing and blessing me on my special birthday. Happy to share the good news of my engagement that happened today with Sai Dhanshika amidst our families. Feeling positive and blessed. Seeking your blessings and good vibes as always.”

At their official announcement in May, Dhanshika had opened up about their bond, saying, “I have known him for 15 years. Whenever we met, he would treat me with due respect. When I was in deep trouble, he visited my home and raised his voice for me. No hero has ever visited my house. It was very sweet of him – his gesture was pleasing.”

Vishal, too, had expressed his gratitude, remarking that he considered himself fortunate: “She is a wonderful person. They say God saves the best for the last, and I believe he saved Dhanshika for me. We are going to lead a positive and lovely life.”

On the professional front, Dhanshika awaits the release of Yogi Da, while Vishal is working on his 35th film, Magudam, directed by Ravi Arasu, alongside Dushara Vijayan, Yogi Babu, and Anjali.
