Karan Tacker may have just dropped the biggest clue yet about the release of his much-awaited series ‘Bhay: A Gaurav Tiwari Mystery’. Fresh off the success of ‘Special Ops Season 2’ and ‘Tanvi The Great’, Tacker is now gearing up for the release of his next project, ‘Bhay,’ a horror-thriller.

In the show, based on the life of famed paranormal investigator Gaurav Tiwari, Tacker steps into the titular role in what he promises will be a performance unlike anything he’s done before—one that truly expands his bandwidth as an actor.

While the makers have yet to announce an official release date, Tacker dropped a hint in a conversation with Mathrubhumi English, revealing that the series is likely to arrive soon on Amazon MX Player.

Calling Bhay his “most aspirational project to date,” Tacker revealed that the series will showcase a side of him audiences haven’t seen before—one that pushes the boundaries of his craft and reveals his true range as an actor.

“Bhay is actually my most aspirational project to date. Hopefully, it’ll be available on Amazon after Diwali. And I feel like that’s the one that will make people feel like—what’s the word?—that I have a certain… what do actors call it? Not scale... but that my bandwidth as an actor is much larger, because it’s very different from anything I’ve done so far,” he said.

Also starring Kalki Koei in a pivotal role, the trailer for the series was released early this year in February. Directed by Robbie Grewal and produced by Prabhleen Sandhu under the production banner Almighty Motion Picture, the eight-part series will also feature actors Danish Sood, Saloni Batra, Nimisha Nair, Avinash Sachedev, and a furry four-legged actor, Bruno.

About Gaurav Tiwari and his death:

One of the famous paranormal investigators of India, Gaurav, went to the United States of America to pursue an aviation career, and later found his interest in paranormal investigation. Over the years, as a paranormal investigator, he appeared on many shows, including ‘Haunting: Australia’.

In July 2016, Gaurav was found dead of asphyxiation at his residence in Dwarka in New Delhi, at the age of 31. His death made many people, including those from the paranormal society, speculate that it was an act of a vengeful spirit. Although the Delhi police ruled out his death as a case of suicide, many continue to disagree with it.
