Bollywood actor Salman Khan spoke about his decision to remain unmarried and his hopes of becoming a father in the future during the premiere episode of Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan' Season 9. The actor, known for keeping aspects of his personal life private, addressed questions about relationships, family and loneliness while appearing on the popular chat show.

Salman Khan on loneliness and staying unmarried

During the conversation, host Karan Johar asked Salman who he considered his own, given that he was loved and admired by so many people. The actor's response was brief but heartfelt: “Family”.

Karan subsequently spoke about his own experiences of loneliness, explaining that the absence of a partner could sometimes leave him feeling alone. Salman offered a different perspective, pointing out that the filmmaker had his children and mother for companionship and support.

The actor went on to describe loneliness as a situation in which a person has nobody who wants to be with them. He also made it clear that he did not believe Karan was in that position.

"You are the loneliest when nobody wants to be with you... nobody stopped me from having a partner. I am happy with this," Salman said.

His remarks offered a glimpse into his outlook on relationships and his decision to remain unmarried, suggesting that he was content with the way his life had unfolded.
