Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday are once again at the centre of dating speculation. A new picture of the ‘Saiyaara’ co-stars from Aneet’s birthday celebration has caught fans’ attention, with many reading more into their warm equation.

Aneet, who turned 24 on October 13, celebrated her birthday with a fairytale-themed party attended by Ahaan, his mother Deanne Panday and actor Alia Bhatt. Nearly three weeks after the celebration, Aneet shared a fresh set of pictures from the evening on Instagram. One photograph, in particular, stood out: Aneet has her arms wrapped around Ahaan as the two pose together against the pastel-coloured party backdrop.

The picture quickly made its way across social media, bringing back conversations about the pair’s relationship. Their on-screen romance in Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’ had already made them a favourite among fans, and their off-screen appearances together have continued to fuel speculation.

Aneet also shared an emotional note about birthdays and the memories they bring back. “Something about birthdays makes me cry,” she wrote, reflecting on the people she misses, moments she wishes she had held on to and the little things she now cherishes. She also remembered her late grandfather and her pet Julie, before expressing gratitude for the love and support of her family and friends.

The birthday pictures came shortly after Ahaan shared a heartfelt post for Aneet. A day before her birthday, he posted a series of photographs, including candid moments and glimpses from their holiday together. His message was equally affectionate.

“You're a gift to the cosmos, Aneet, and everything you touch turns to stardust. I hope the universe is always as gentle with you as you are with it, and don't you ever forget how much light you leave behind, happy happy happy birthday,” he wrote.

Speculation about Ahaan and Aneet’s relationship began gaining momentum after Saiyaara became a box-office success in 2025. Their chemistry in the romantic drama led fans to wonder whether their connection extended beyond the screen.

In August 2025, a video of the two actors stepping out of a boutique in Mumbai with Ahaan’s mother Deanne Panday added to the chatter. Ahaan was seen appearing to offer his hand to Aneet, and the clip prompted fresh questions about their relationship. Reports at the time, however, quoted a source close to the actors saying they were friends and not dating. Their reported holiday in Bali had also become a talking point among fans.

The speculation picked up again in November 2025 when filmmaker Karan Johar hinted that the two could become the next big couple in Hindi cinema. Speaking on Sania Mirza’s talk show, he suggested that they were “not yet official”, leaving fans wondering if there was more to their bond.

Ahaan addressed the rumours soon after in an interview with GQ India. He clarified that Aneet was his best friend and not his girlfriend. “The whole internet thinks we're together, but we're not,” he said, adding that chemistry need not always be romantic. He also described their bond as special and confirmed that he was single.

Neither actor has announced a romantic relationship.

Aneet was also recently seen in the JioHotstar original ‘Hunkkaar’, in which she plays a young sexual assault survivor who stands up to a self-styled godman.
