A handwritten letter attributed to Sukesh Chandrashekhar has resurfaced days after Nora Fatehi spoke about the emotional impact of her association with the Rs 200 crore money laundering case

A handwritten letter allegedly written by jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar to actor Nora Fatehi has resurfaced online, bringing their controversial association back into the spotlight. The letter comes shortly after Nora spoke publicly about the emotional and professional toll she says the episode had on her life.
The letter contains a series of allegations by Sukesh about his equation with Nora, the gifts he claims to have given her and her alleged interactions with him.
In the handwritten note, Sukesh claims that he gave Nora crores of rupees to help her buy a house in Casablanca, Morocco. He also challenged her to make public what he described as their conversations from that period.
He referred to alleged WhatsApp exchanges about luxury purchases, claiming that Nora knew who he was and was aware of his influence. According to his version of events, their conversations included discussions about expensive handbags and cars, including Birkins, BMWs and a Range Rover.
None of these claims from Sukesh’s letter have been independently established in the material available publicly.
The note goes beyond his alleged dealings with Nora and makes claims about her relationship with him and his equation with actor Jacqueline Fernandez.
Sukesh alleges that Nora was jealous of his relationship with Jacqueline and repeatedly contacted him. In the letter, he claims she made as many as 10 calls a day and wanted him to end his relationship with Jacqueline.
“You used to bombard my phone with up to 10 calls a day begging me to leave Jacqueline and brain washing me to fully finance your lifestyle,” he wrote.
He further alleged that Nora wanted him to fund her lifestyle and tried to persuade him to leave Jacqueline.
Towards the end of the letter, Sukesh issued a warning to Nora, writing, “Do not provoke me.” He also threatened to release what he called the “remaining proof” of his allegations.
He claimed that public relations efforts would not be enough to protect Nora’s reputation if he chose to release the alleged material.
Nora recently spoke about the trauma
The letter has emerged at a time when Nora has herself spoken about the impact the controversy had on her.
During a recent appearance on the Dream With Dr Sheen podcast, Nora became emotional while recalling the period in which her name became associated with Sukesh and the Rs 200 crore case.
She described the experience as deeply traumatic and said she felt isolated during that period. She also spoke about losing work and brand opportunities and said that the public narrative around the case had overshadowed years of her career.
Nora has maintained that she was a victim in the matter. Her team had earlier said that she was not involved in money laundering and that she was cooperating with the Enforcement Directorate as a witness.
What is the Sukesh Chandrashekhar case?
The wider case centres on an alleged Rs 200 crore extortion racket linked to Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The Enforcement Directorate has investigated the alleged laundering and use of the proceeds, including claims that money was spent on luxury gifts and other benefits for people associated with the accused.
Nora was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the investigation and later recorded her statement before a Delhi court. She has denied wrongdoing and has maintained that she was a victim rather than a participant in the alleged money laundering.
The case has also involved Jacqueline Fernandez. In May 2026, a Delhi court ordered charges to be framed against Fernandez, Sukesh and several other accused in the money laundering case. Fernandez has pleaded not guilty and denied the allegations against her.
Fernandez later withdrew a petition challenging the trial proceedings from the Supreme Court, with the court allowing her to pursue an appropriate legal remedy. The trial proceedings are continuing.
