RRB JE exam is taken for the appointment of Junior Engineers within the Indian Railway department. The salary of a Junior Engineer within the Indian railway department varies from Rs. 29000 to 34500 with grade pay of Rs. 4200. During the training period, the recruits are entitled to just basic pay and DA while after the successful completion of their training, they are entitled to DA, TA, and HRA making the monthly salary to Rs. 42000.
RRB NTPC Exam 2022
RRB NTPC is one of the most popular exams given by the candidates planning to get appointed a Junior Clerk Cum Typist, Accounts Clerk Cum Typist, Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Time Keeper, and Trains Clerk. A total of 10603 vacancies have been released for RRB NTPC 2022. RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam was scheduled to be held from February 15 to 19, 2022 but the exam has been postponed until further notice. The minimum educational qualification for RRB NTPC is 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks. This is a computer-based test conducted in two phases – Prelims and Mains. Prelims consist of questions related to general science, arithmetic ability, general awareness, and logical reasoning. The basic pay of a candidate after selection in RRB NTPC is approximately INR 35,400/- per month during the initial years.
RRB ALP Exam 2022
RRB ALP exam is conducted for the appointment of candidates as Assistant Loco Pilot & Technician (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Engineering, etc.) The official notification for RRB ALP 2022 has not been released yet, However, it is expected that the notification will be out in March 2022. The minimum eligibility criteria to give the exam is 10th + ITI Apprenticeship or 10+2 with Physics & Maths with at least 50%. Candidates applying for the RRB ALP exam have to give CBT and Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT for ALP only). Topics that candidates have to prepare include general science, logical reasoning, mathematics, and GK/current affairs. The salary earned by the candidates selected in RRB ALP is approximately Rs 35,000/- per month.
Railway Protection Force Sub Inspector (RPF SI)
RPF SI exam is conducted by the Railway Protection Force board, this exam is taken to shortlist the most eligible candidates as Constable. The exam is conducted to judge candidates’ general intelligence and logical reasoning, numerical aptitude, general knowledge, and general English skills. The exam duration is 3 hours and the paper will be objective with 200 objective type questions being asked in the exam.The salary of a constable in Indian Railways is Rs. 21000 while it is Rs. 35000 for a sub-inspector. Many additional allowances earned by the employees include provident funds, pension, medical facilities, education assistance, travelling, transfer allowance, etc.
RRB Group D Exam
Candidates planning to join the Indian Railways by getting appointed at Track Maintainer Grade IV, Assistant Pointsman, Helper/ Assistant, Level I posts have to give RRB Group D exam. RRB Group D exam is scheduled to be held from February 23, 2022 onwards in multiple phases. The exam will be held to fill a total of 103769 vacancies. The eligibility criteria to give the exam is 10+2 in any stream. RRB Group D exam is conducted in four stages including Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Fitness Test. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes and topics asked in the exam include mathematics, general science, general awareness of current affairs, general intelligence, and logical reasoning. The RRB Group D salary differs based on the post candidates applied for, the range varies from INR 22000 to 25,000. In addition to an attractive salary, the candidates also get several allowances including Daily Allowance, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Overtime Allowance, among others.
RRB Recruitment 2022 Selection Criteria
The RRB Recruitment selection criteria 2022 comprise three stages. The application process is online and candidates can refer to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to apply. The three stages of the railway recruitment process are.
