Thiruvananthapuram: This year’s Swayamvara Silks presents Impresario Miss Kerala silver jubilee edition title has been won by Srinidi Suresh, a native of Thiruvananthapuram. A final-year law student at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Srinidi stepped into the world of fashion only six months ago. She secured the crown in just her second beauty pageant.

From her school days at Trivandrum International School, Srinidi excelled in public speaking, debates, designing, acting, and mimicry. Her interest in fashion and new trends from a young age was nurtured by her mother, Priyadarshini, who encouraged her to explore the world of modelling. It was her mother who submitted her application for a Kochi-based competition six months ago. Despite suffering a leg injury during training, Srinidi persevered and was later selected for the silver jubilee edition of the Swayamvara Silks, Impresario Miss Kerala contest.

Along the way, she also became the face of several brands. With guidance from family friend and former Miss India Gujarat, Amardeep Kaur, along with her college friends, she prepared rigorously for the competition. Out of 22 finalists, Srinidi impressed the judges not only with her modelling and ramp walk but also in sessions that tested personality and intellectual depth.

As a contestant representing Thiruvananthapuram, many of the questions posed to her revolved around the city’s history and heritage. Reflecting on her journey, Srinidi said, “The key to winning a beauty pageant lies in the self-confidence one carries within.”

Srinidi hails from Vanchiyoor Kovalam House. She is daughter of political and social leader Kovalam TN Suresh and Priyadarshini. She has two brothers, Rohan Krishna and Vivaan Krishna.
