Kannur: KSRTC has launched special packages for tourists wishing to explore nature’s beauty during the Pooja holidays. A trip that will start from Kannur at 7 pm on October 10 will cover Munnar, Marayoor and Kanthalloor and will return to Kannur by 6 am on October 13. The package, including accommodation and food, is priced at Rs 4,250 per person.
In another package that will start on October 11 at 7 pm, on the first day, there will be a visit to the adventure park, Pine Valley forest and the barren hills in Vagamon. The second day of the itinerary involves a visit to Chathurangapara viewpoint, Gap Road view point, Anayirangal dam, signal point, Malayil Kallan cave, Periya canal waterfall and other attractions in Idukki district. The package, which includes food, stay and entry fees, will cost Rs 4100 per person.
Another package starting on October 13 at 6.30 am from Kannur includes a visit to Ezharakund Waterfalls and Palakkayam Thattu in the district and will return by 9 pm. This Paithalmala package, including food and entry fee, is priced at Rs 950 per person.
Another package that will start at 6 am from Kannur will include a visit to Thusharagiri waterfalls and then entering Wayanad via the Thamarassery pass. A visit to En Ooru, Honey Museum along with Pookode Lake and Lakkidi view point will also be included. The cost of this package, which includes food and entry fees, is Rs 1310 per person.
