Aaron Paul, best known for playing Jesse Pinkman in ‘Breaking Bad’, has sold his Spanish-style Los Angeles mansion for $7.495 million after relocating to Paris with his wife, Lauren Paul, and their two children. The family’s decision to leave California followed the devastating wildfires of January 2025, which prompted them to reconsider where they wanted to put down roots.

The property, known as the Seyler House, was initially listed for nearly $10 million in July 2025. After several price reductions, the Los Feliz estate eventually found a buyer for approximately $2.5 million less than its original asking price.

Despite the reduced sale price, the mansion boasts plenty of character. The Spanish-style property features lush gardens, secluded courtyards and a private swimming pool, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Los Angeles. Its emphasis on indoor-outdoor living made it a quintessential California residence.

For Paul and his family, however, the next chapter lies across the Atlantic. The actor and his wife had previously considered living abroad to experience a different culture and give their children a broader perspective on the world. The wildfires made that long-standing idea feel more pressing.

Their move to Paris marks a significant lifestyle change, trading Los Angeles' sprawling streets for a city known for its historic architecture, neighbourhood cafés, museums and walkable streets. Rather than viewing the relocation as a rejection of California, the family has framed it as an opportunity to embrace new experiences.

While the sale brings Paul's chapter at the Seyler House to a close, it also signals a fresh start for the family in France. For the ‘Breaking Bad’ star, the next big move is less about Hollywood and more about family, cultural discovery and life beyond Los Angeles.
