Clara, who recorded the video herself, mentioned that Malayalam-speaking Uber drivers often respond with excitement when they hear a foreigner speaking their language. She had always wanted to capture such a moment on camera.

Clara revealed that she learned Malayalam from her Malayali friends while pursuing her master’s degree in Germany. She began learning the language five years ago and has since mastered it.
