Method dressing remained at the heart of Zendaya's ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ press tour as the actor arrived at the film's Los Angeles premiere in a look that subtly tied back to the Marvel universe.

For the premiere, Zendaya wore a custom black satin Ashi Studio corset gown featuring a sculpted silhouette and an architectural train that extended dramatically behind her. Instead of opting for a literal interpretation of Spider-Man, the ensemble leaned into abstract design elements that echoed the character's visual identity while maintaining a couture finish.

Longtime stylist Law Roach described the outfit as an "abstract" take on the spider motif during the premiere. According to him, the concept reflected a metamorphosis rather than a direct recreation, allowing the look to reference the superhero without relying on obvious costume-inspired details. He paired the ensemble with Boucheron jewellery, while Zendaya completed the outfit with Christian Louboutin heels.

Her beauty look complemented the structured gown with polished makeup created using Prada Beauty products, including shades from the Dimensions Eyeshadow palette, Reflection Glossy Balm Universal and Prada Balm in Universal Green.

The premiere appearance also continued a consistent styling direction seen throughout the Brand New Day promotions.

Earlier on the tour, Zendaya wore an archival spiderweb dress from John Galliano's 1997 Circus collection at the London premiere, followed by a vintage Spider-Man T-shirt at a Paris fan event. The T-shirt, sourced by Law Roach on eBay, became one of the tour's most talked-about fashion moments after he revealed it had cost just $34.99, adding that style does not always have to come with a high price tag.
