Nita Ambani embraced traditional Indian glamour in a vibrant Banarasi saree and elaborate heritage-inspired jewellery at the Reliance Diwali celebration.

Nita Ambani made a case for old-world Indian glamour at the Reliance Diwali celebration in Mumbai, stepping out in a vibrant silk saree with an elaborate display of traditional jewellery. While festive fashion often leans towards statement silhouettes and contemporary styling, her latest appearance was a reminder of the enduring appeal of India's textile and jewellery traditions.
For the occasion, Nita chose a Banarasi silk drape in shades of vermilion, orange and deep red. The interplay of these warm hues gave the saree a striking appearance, while its elaborate gold zari work brought in the richness associated with traditional Banarasi craftsmanship. Floral and geometric patterns added detail to the borders, making the weave stand out without the need for an elaborate silhouette.
A structured crimson blouse completed the ensemble, keeping the colour story cohesive. But it was her choice of accessories that took the look into heirloom territory.
Nita opted for an elaborate antique-finish choker with intricate open-work detailing and gemstone accents along its lower edge. Traditional jhumkas with kanautis framed her face, while multiple polki kadas and cuffs added to the jewellery-heavy aesthetic. Rather than introducing contemporary accessories, she stayed with pieces that complemented the saree's traditional character.

Her beauty look followed the same understated approach. A centre-parted bun, secured neatly at the back and decorated with fresh roses, rounded off the appearance.
The Reliance Diwali celebration, hosted by Mukesh Ambani and his family, brought together thousands of employees in Mumbai. The event followed the massive initial public offering of Jio Platforms Ltd.
Shloka Mehta also attended the festivities in a purple traditional ensemble. She paired a skirt with a tunic featuring gold embroidery and small decorative motifs, completing the outfit with a matching dupatta.
