Gaurav Gupta's latest couture collection, 'Light Song', is finding a new life beyond fashion week. The designer has unveiled the sixth edition of his digital series, The Bride Side, with Kriti Sanon taking centre stage in three bridal looks that feel cinematic, contemporary and unmistakably couture.

Known for turning sculpture into fashion, Gupta continues to move away from predictable bridal dressing. Instead of presenting one vision of the bride, The Bride Side explores different personalities through couture, with each look telling its own story.

Kriti slips into the first look, The Asteria Gown, a midnight blue creation that immediately breaks away from traditional bridal colours. Built around a sculpted bucket corset, the gown is finished with shimmering embroidery and a matching embroidered veil. It is bold without being loud and glamorous without losing its elegance.

The mood changes with Prabha, a French taupe lehenga layered with intricate Art Nouveau-inspired zari zardozi work. The silver bead detailing catches the light beautifully, while the embroidered cape and flowing trail give the outfit movement. It feels regal but relaxed, making it an easy choice for brides who want tradition with a fresh perspective.

The final chapter introduces the Siren Bloom Lehenga, an ivory ensemble that blends delicate craftsmanship with structured design. Pearls, crystals and three-dimensional floral appliqué decorate the sculpted blouse, while a brocade draped cape replaces the expected dupatta. The result is soft, romantic and distinctly modern.

The collection also reflects a shift in the way bridal fashion is evolving. Today's bride is choosing silhouettes that reflect her personality instead of following conventions. Colour is becoming more experimental, capes are replacing veils, and sculptural tailoring is finding a place alongside intricate hand embroidery.

Speaking about the collaboration, Gaurav Gupta says every bridal creation begins with craftsmanship, but it is the woman wearing it who completes the story. He believes Kriti's confidence and individuality bring a different emotion to each couture look.

Styled by Sukriti Grover, the campaign adds another chapter to 'The Bride Side', a series that has previously featured Disha Patani, Tamannaah Bhatia, Triptii Dimri, Banita Sandhu and Aditi Rao Hydari. With Kriti joining the lineup, the platform continues to celebrate brides who embrace couture on their own terms.
